Victorian Goldfields Region

The Victorian Goldfields region, in centre of Victoria, is full of history. It was the site of the gold rush of the 1830s, which saw thousands of immigrants flood to the area in the hope of finding gold. Relics of this past can be still be seen in the area, and especially in the historic towns of Ballarat and Bendigo.
